Login into your nation with multi-factor authentication (MFA): language support

NationBuilder’s login flow supports multiple languages to ensure a seamless and consistent experience for users across different regions.

Updated this week

How language support works for MFA

The language matches website language:

The language used for the MFA login flow is determined by the language of the specific website from which the login request originated. If a user attempts to log in from a NationBuilder website in a particular language, the MFA login process will be displayed in the same language. This ensures that the entire login experience remains consistent with the website’s content.

The primary website will be the default:

If no specific website is indicated during the login attempt (for example, when logging in directly to the supporter portal), the MFA flow will default to the language of the primary website associated with your nation.

Supported languages:

English (GB), English (US), Spanish, French (CA), French (FR), Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, German, Greek, Estonian, Finnish, Georgian, Croatian, Hungarian, Italian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Swedish, Turkish, Welsh.

For sites set to Maltese or Irish, the login experience will occur in English.

MFA text messages language support

MFA-related text messages (such as verification codes) are also translated to match the language of the website from which the login originated. This provides a fully localized experience for users who opt to receive their MFA verification via text message.

Supporter portal language

When supporters navigate to the Login and security view within the supporter portal, the interface will be translated into French or Spanish if you have selected one of these languages in your site settings.
