Qomon provides mapping and territory analysis tools as well as a mobile app for field operation management. The app is integrated with NationBuilder and allows you to organise your community digitally, on the ground, and coordinate your volunteers.
1) Synchronizing contacts and tags
Synchronizing contacts between NationBuilder and Qomon will allow you to efficiently identify your volunteers and organise them to canvass and/or phonebank. You will also be able to continue engaging supporters who have given you their details on the ground with targeted communications.
How is your data synchronized from NationBuilder to Qomon?
Contacts are synchronized between NationBuilder and Qomon. You can easily identify contacts coming from NationBuilder in your Qomon “people” tab as they have a NationBuilder icon. When hovering over the icon, a confirmation message is displayed (“This contact is synchronized with NationBuilder”). You can also use the NationBuilder filter in your Qomon’s space to see all contacts coming from NationBuilder.
All contacts in your NationBuilder account with a postal address will be sent to Qomon as they can be used for field operations. They will get a tag named “From NationBuilder” in Qomon. New signups from the website with a postal address will also be added to your Qomon database with the tag “From website”.
When information such as an address, phone number, support level, member status, follower, contact status or tag is updated on a profile in NationBuilder, it gets updated in Qomon as well. This process takes up to 2 minutes.

How is your data synchronized from NationBuilder to Qomon?
All contacts in Qomon with an email address or a mobile phone number will be sent to your NationBuilder account, so you can communicate with them and get them involved according to your ladders of engagement.
When information such as an address, phone number, support level, member status, follower, contact status or tag is updated on a profile in Qomon, it gets updated in NationBuilder as well.

2) Synchronizing surveys
The data collected during a canvassing session with the Qomon app will be synchronized with your Nationbuilder account. If the people you meet on the ground give a specific survey answer or wish to donate, you’ll be able to keep track and follow up appropriately from Qomon or Nationbuilder.
As your volunteers carry out surveys on the street with the Qomon app, answers given by supporters can be added to their NationBuilder profile as tags, along with a “Qomon” tag.
In Qomon, select the survey questions for which you want the responses to be reflected on profiles in Nationbuilder (they may not all be relevant). Each response will have a specific tag that will be easily identifiable in Nationbuilder for communication purposes.
