Understanding Finances statistics

Updated over a month ago

Using Finances statistics

The statistics at the top of the Finances table can help you quickly analyze your fundraising activity without exporting your data.

You can use these metrics to:

  • measure the performance of a fundraising campaign

  • compare donation activity across different tracking codes

  • understand donation patterns over time

Because the statistics update dynamically when filters are applied, they provide a quick way to review fundraising results for specific groups of transactions.**

Only successful transactions are included in the summary statistics at the top of the finances table.

Total raised

Total raised shows the total amount from successful donation transactions that match your current filters.

This statistic can help you quickly understand how much money has been raised for a specific campaign, event, or timeframe.

Average amount

Average amount shows the average value of successful donation transactions returned by the current filters.

This metric can help you understand typical donation size for a campaign or fundraising effort.

For example, you might compare the average donation amount between different fundraising campaigns or outreach strategies.

Successful transactions

Transactions shows the total number of transactions returned by the current filters.

For example, if you filter by Status = succeeded, and a specific tracking code the Transactions stat will show the number of successful transactions returned by that filter.

Unique contributors

Unique contributors shows the number of individual supporters who made successful donations matching the current filters.

Each supporter is counted once, even if they made multiple donations.

This statistic can help you understand how many unique people contributed to a campaign or fundraising effort.

**. Expenditures and invoices will be included in the metrics bar regardless of their status
