Connections Hub is a central hub of integrations and utilities that connect to your Nation's data.
It's built and supported by NationBuilder, and gives you access to a growing set of tools that work directly with your NationBuilder account no — developer required.
Current tools in Connections Hub include:
Wealth Screening (with Kindsight's iWave): a donor prospecting integration that enriches supporter profiles with additional data from iWave's database.
List Splitter: a utility for splitting lists in bulk within your Nation.
List Destroyer: a utility for destroying lists in bulk within your Nation.
The tools are independent of one another, and may have their own separate documentation. This article covers ConnectionsHub itself; what it is and how to connect your Nation to get started.
Does it cost anything?
ConnectionsHub is free. The tools currently available are included at no additional charge. New tools added in the future may be offered differently, and any cost will be clearly noted on a per-tool basis if that is the case.
Do I need a developer?
No. Connecting your Nation to ConnectionsHub takes a few clicks and requires only a NationBuilder admin account with API permissions. No technical setup is needed.
How to connect your Nation
Enter your NationBuilder slug. Your slug is the part of your NationBuilder address that comes before
.nationbuilder.com. For example, if your site ismyorg.nationbuilder.com, your slug ismyorg.Log in with your NationBuilder admin account. You'll be redirected to your Nation to log-in. The account you use needs a level of access with API permissions enabled.
Authorize the connection. After logging in, you'll see a screen asking you to authorize Connections Hub to access your Nation's data. Click Authorize. You'll be redirected back to Connections Hub, and your Nation is now connected.
From here, the tools within ConnectionsHub are safely able to work with your nation's data.
📌 Note: If you manage more than one Nation, you'll go through this process once per Nation. Each connection is managed separately.
