Annual recurring payment reminders

You can enable payment reminders for annual donations or annual membership payments by navigating to your nation Settings > Nation defaults > Supporter portal > Donation management or Membership management.

Enabling this option will send a reminder email to your supporters 7 days in advance of their next recurring annual payment.

In the Membership management section, this notification email will exclusively be sent to members who pay annual, recurring dues through NationBuilder.

When this option is enabled, an "Edit" option will appear. Clicking "Edit" will open a modal through which you can change the broadcaster, subject line, and content of the email that will be sent to your supporters 7 days before their next annual payment.

Failed payment notifications

πŸ“Œ Note: This feature is only available for payments that are processed through NationBuilder Payments.

You can choose to send an email notification to donors each time their payment fails, so they can change their payment information.

Notification emails will be sent from the first failure through the fourth failure (note that the recurring payment is canceled automatically after 5 failures so we don't send a notification the 5th time).
