Basic settings

To create your vote pledge page, click on Website > [Site Name] > New Page.

1. Enter the name of the page and slug.

2. Select the Vote Pledge page type.

📌 Note: We display the eight most used page types for your nation based on your settings and add-ons. To see all available pages simply click on 'Show all page types'.

3. Select the checkbox to include (or not include) the page in top nav or supporter nav.

4. Click Create Page at the bottom.

You will be directed to Vote pledge settings > Basics.

1. Include all yes votes pledged in total, not just the ones from this page. This will be checked by default. This means pledges from other pages or actions taken by your or staff will be counted in the total.

2. Include all strong and weak supporters (1s and 2s) in the yes total, not just people we know can vote for the candidate. This will be checked by default.

3. Goal for yes votes: Input the number of yes votes you'll need to win your election.

4. Additional yes votes to add to total: This will default to zero, keep it zero unless you've collected offline pledges of support that haven't been logged in your nation yet.

5. Tag people who pledge to vote 'yes' with: You can set tags for pledgers for easy filtering to find them later. (e.g. pledged, pledged-May 2018, etc.) This is highly useful when the goal is achieved and you would like to quickly find all people who pledged to solicit further support. If you do not enter a tag into this field, there will be no way for you to identify who pledged to vote through this page.

6. Membership (Optional): If you'd like to assign all people who pledge 'yes' a membership, you can do so here, as well as set an expiration date for the membership.

7. Add to Path (Optional): Select this box if you'd like to add everyone who pledges 'yes' to a path.

8. Tag people who pledge to vote 'no' with: You can set tags for pledgers for easy filtering to find them later. (e.g. pledged-no, pledged-no-May 2018, etc.) This is highly useful when the goal is achieved and you would like to quickly find all people who did not pledge.

9. Membership (Optional): If you'd like to assign all people who pledge 'no' a membership, you can do so here, as well as set an expiration date for the membership.

10. Add to Path (Optional): Select this box if you'd like to add everyone who pledges 'no' to a path.

11. Tag people who are unsure with: You can set tags for pledgers for easy filtering to find them later. (e.g. pledged-unsure, pledged-unsure-May 2018, etc.) This is highly useful when the goal is achieved and you would like to quickly find all people who are unsure to solicit further support.

12. Membership (Optional): If you'd like to assign all people who pledge 'no' a membership, you can do so here, as well as set an expiration date for the membership.

13. Add to Path (Optional): Select this box if you'd like to add everyone who pledges 'yes' to a path.

14. Click Save settings.

3. Type in a blurb you'd like to display before the signup/more info/do not call-contact forms.

4. Click Save settings
