Fundraising Filters

Fundraising filters live in two sections of your control panel: Finances and People.

  • Finances filters return individual transactions. If a supporter donates monthly, each donation appears as a separate result.

  • People filters return donor profiles. The same supporter appears once, with their total contributions summarized.

Use Finances filters when you need to find specific donations or review transaction history. Use People filters when you need to know about who donated.

What to know about Finances filters

Filters return transactions, not people. Each result is a single donation. Supporters who've donated multiple times will appear more than once. To filter by supporter, use the People section.

Filter by donation status. Filter transactions by Succeeded, Failed, Refunded, or Pending to review donations at any stage.

Stats update with your filters. The summary metrics at the top of the table — total amount, number of transactions, number of contributors, and average amount — update automatically as you filter giving you a mini dashboard of totals for that particular filter.

Filters apply to exports. When you export transactions, your active filters carry over to the export and only those transactions in your filter will be exported.
